MCD & MCD Swim Cinematic Shorts

Photo & Video Production

A youth sports programme's enrolment pipeline runs almost entirely on a question parents cannot answer from a brochure - Will my child feel like they belong here? That question is answered in the first few seconds of a video, or it isn't answered at all, and the family chooses somewhere else. The brief was to build a series of cinematic shorts across MCD's spring camps, pool sessions, and gym training that made belonging visible at the pace a social feed demands. Each piece edited to capture the specific quality of joy and focus that only exists when a young athlete is genuinely progressing, honest enough to be believed, composed enough to make the programme feel worth the investment. The result is a campaign that does the work a brochure never could, making a parent watching on their phone feel certain their child would thrive before a single enquiry is made.

Every youth sports programme loses enrolments it never knew it was losing, to families who watched the content, felt nothing, and chose somewhere else. If your videos document what your programme does rather than make a parent feel what their child would become inside it, that is not a production problem, it is a positioning problem. The Growth Audit is where that gets mapped.
